Redefine HD Gaming
The ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series GPUs deliver a cinematic gaming experience with unprecedented performance. The powerful new TeraScale graphics will propel you deep into your gameplay with seamless frame rates and high resolutions. Enhanced anti-aliasing (AA) and anisotropic filtering create striking graphics with unparalleled realism so you can max out the settings of the most demanding next-generation games or revitalize your favorite titles. Play today while preparing for tomorrow with tessellation, support for DirectX® 10.1 and scalable ATI CrossFireXTM technology.
ATI AvivoTM HD Technology
ATI AvivoTM HD is the advanced image and video processing and display technology found in ATI RadeonTM HD GPUs and ATI TheaterTM video capture processors. Specifically designed for HDTV and HD video enthusiasts, ATI Avivo HD provides brilliant colors, sharp images, smooth playback of Blu-rayTM* and HD video content, HDMI with built-in multi-channel digital audio, and on some GPUs, Unified Video Decoding (UVD). UVD is designed to enable a cool and quiet media PC with low CPU power requirements and playback of HD 1080p content. HD Monitor is required for full 1080p enjoyment.
HDMI Video and Audio
A system with an ATI RadeonTM HD 4800 Series graphics card can help enhance the HD entertainment experience by providing a seamless connection to an HDTV or home theater system. With built-in 7.1 surround sound audio (AC3 / DTS ), the new GPUs and graphics cards support single cable connection directly to a compatible HDTV, projector or receiver. This single cable carries both the HD video and 8 channel audio for a clean, high definition connection. Some graphics cards will be equipped with an HDMI connector, while others will output the HDMI signal using a special ATI Radeon DVI-I to HDMI adapter. These options give consumers more options and flexibility when connecting their PCs to monitors or home theaters for maximum enjoyment of HD content. The new GPU also supports xvYCC color which can display a wider range of color when connected to capable HDTVs.
* The HIS DVI to HDMI Adapter for ATI 4000/ 3000 series (Product Code: HHDMI4071) is required to fully utilize the audio through HDMI features

HIS has won over 1700 awards with AMD graphic solutions from major media worldwide.
" The relatively new game Battleforge, the Radeon HD 4890 which is slightly ahead Geforce GTX 275th " - Reviewed by Mikrodatorn
HIS 4890 Turbo scores 8.5 points out of 10 and earned the HWM Silver Award
" Here without any doubt, Hawx is heavily loaded with ATI cards and HIS 4890 Turbo perform even better than Nvidia GTX 285. " - Centrale3d Approval Award
" The turbo offering from HIS offers a nice little boost in performance with the best gains being seen at resolutions of up to 1920x1200......It's one of the higher overclocked cards with some companies not quite reaching 900Mhz. " - PC.com's Editor Choice Award
" HIS has a rock-solid Radeon HD 4890 delivered. The card is very fast and can handle all current games in the highest resolutions without any problems. " - 3D Fusion Silver Award

" In most games, the HD4890 performs superbly, maintaining 28fps in Crysis at 1280x1024 with all details set to high. " - Personal Computer World Recommended Award
" HIS Radeon HD 4890 的速度是目前市面上最快的組合,速度較MSI及XFX推出的超頻版本更高 " - PCM Review
" We think that a high-end graphics card should be able to render any game at 8x AA after 1920x1200. And as such, the Radeon HD 4890 definitely qualifies...... It's very tweakable and can be clocked a vast amount higher. If you clock it at 950 MHz on the core and 4400~4600 Mhz on the memory, the card will surpass GeForce GTX 285 performance. " - Guru3D Recommended
" As you can see the GTX 260 gets owned by the 4890 in each of our tests. As for the cost vs performance. ......The HIS Radeon Has a Compute Power of 1.36 TFLOPs...... The GTX 260 Has a Compute Power of 715 GFLOPs...... When put into perspective we can see why the 4890 is a better choice than the GTX 260 for its lower power consumption vs performance and overall greater performance per dollar spent " - Techware Labs Awesome Award
4890 Turbo Video Review - 3Dgameman 100% Kickass Award
" Compared to the NVIDIA offering we see the HD 4890s have a massive jump......Straight off the bat we can see a nice little performance increase with the HIS HD 4890 Turbo. We can actually see at the Extreme preset it manages to beat out the GTX 260 which is something the stock model couldn't achieve. " - TweakTown's "Must Have" Editor's Choice
" HD 4890 is faster than the GTX 260 Core216 by 10-20% in average and it seems like ATI has hit a jackpot. HIS' card outran its non-overclocked sibling by 1-4% in average. (Overclocking) Close to 1000MHz should be possible but you can definitely expect 900+. If you are ATI man and you want the fastest single card, this is an answer to your prayers. " - Review by Fudzilla
" It's obvious that ATI have not just relaunched an overclocked version of a previously released chip in a new packing, but have worked on both optimization and making the chip more effective...... HD4890 card banks almost 2000 points more out of the test than the HD4870 and a good 1500 points more than GTX260" - Scores 9.5 out of 10 in Tweakup's Review
